Rick Santorum continued his assault on the poor and minorities yesterday evening. While speaking to a group of about 100 students at a small Iowa Christian college, Santorum claimed that no one in America has ever died because they didn’t have health care coverage. This, in fact, is a lie, as proven by numerous studies.

“The answer is not what can we do to prevent deaths because of a lack of health insurance. There’s — I reject that number completely, that people die in America because of lack of health insurance,” Santorum said to a crowd of 100.
Don't like result, reject study.

I suggest we take Santorum's health insurance away and give him operable brain cancer. Let's see how long he survives. He's a moron so maybe no one would notice.

Grae - Don't forget to empty his bank account so he can't afford any medications to attempt to fight it or make him comfortable!
The fact that this man represents my state makes me nauseous.

I suppose I would be one of those who might /not died from no health insurance. In 2007 I drove my car in front of a snow plow, it somewhat broke me up, actually quite badly. The insurance I had, paid out over 100k and as soon as I more or less recovered they dropped me so I went without medical insurance. In 2009 I was diagnosed with chronic hepatitis c, as a result of blood transfusions from 1990. I was a Geologist and I took risks but I always lived. But the form of chemotherapy that I went through in early 2010 hurt. More so then, the 35 or 40 broken bones I had in 2007. Such is life. Yet in 2009 I was unable to pay for the treatment that I was told could possibly save me from death. The medication cost over 3k a month so I was out of luck. But I was lucky I suppose, the infectious disease doctor I had liked me, they all did. I was always trying to joke, to make fun of myself, for how broken I was. So they helped, they supplied the medication and for 8 months I had to inject myself, into what little body mass I had left, with a form of pegulated interferon and all those bloody ribavirons. It was very painful, I lost weight, always sick, weak but I lived, I made it through. It didn't help though but they tried, so did I. But for millions of other people the medication helps and for some it cures. But the cost is so high that its difficult to find that kind of money. So this "santorum" creature, to say ,that no one ever died from no health insurance is wrong. I was lucky but if my doctors did not want me to die, I would have. I lived because I had doctors that cared. No insurance will take me now but for the medicare that I have. so if I start to get so bad that its to hard to go, I swear that I will drag my broken body to this saints house and die, there in his yard. That is if this animal is not inside his house, cradling a dead fetus and singing prayers to a god, that just doesn't seem to care. Just like this Santorum creature. Honestly if there is a hell and I do not believe in that higher power of his, I am a scientifically designed agnostic, but if I am wrong then I hope that animal goes with me, to what ever hell there is. Darn this piece hurt, reliving the past.
